FREE AQUA CLASSES.. Three weeks ago we lost an incredible woman- Patricia Wylie. Pat suffered from numerous health problems including severe pain in her knees. One of the last projects I started for her, was an Aqua Fitness class to be held at a private residence in Laprairie for 8$/class, max. 10 participants. In honor of Patricia, Debbie will be moving forward and launch this outdoor private class, FREE of charge. Classes will be Saturday morning’s at 8:30 a.m. All I ask, is that participants make a small donation in her name (whether 1$ or 50$) to pancreatic cancer research Debbie Lavallee email@example.com

1. Yoga Flo 55+ every Friday from 4-5:15 PM. First class is $5. Regular classes are $20 (or you can buy class cards for multiple classes which ends up giving you a reduced rate/class).
2. Community Yoga every Friday from 6-7 PM. Always 5$ with profits going to local charities.

Women's Ways Circle meets on the South Shore on the third Wednesday of every month. We create a space to share our stories, explore our authentic voices, and acknowledge the beauty, wisdom and power of the feminine spirit. No previous experience of this type of gathering is necessary, nor any religious or spiritual practice. All that is needed is an open heart. The next circle takes place Wednesday, July 18 at 7:30 p.m. at 83 boul Churchill in Greenfield Park. A fee is collected in support of local and international women’s organizations. Meals on Wheels in Greenfield Park is looking to refresh their list of volunteers. Each week (Tuesday and Thursday) Meals on Wheels deliveries home-cook meals to seniors & shut-ins in our community. Fireworks festival to return for 34th year The Montreal International Fireworks Festival at La Ronde will launch its 34th annual pyromusical competition on Saturday July 7, with an opening ceremony which pays tribute to the Swedish band ABBA. For Saint-Lambert residents, this means traffic detours away from Seaway Park where the crowd sets up for an evening. The countries competing are: Austria, Australia, Wednesday, August 11. The closing Awards Ceremony will be held on Wednesday August 8 with music from James Bond films. All shows start at 10 p.m., rain or shine.
Saint-Lambert will host summer open air concerts The “Jeudis de la place” open air concerts will return to the Village park (opposite Taylor’s Department Store) every Thursday at 7 p.m. Antonio Carlos Jobum on August 2, and Chandail de Loup on August 9. Zekuhl will end the series with the music of Cameroon on August 16. Admission is free; bring your own lawn chair. In case of rain, the concerts will be moved to the recreation centre.

St. Paul's 321 Empire in Greenfield Park will be starting up their Ladies Craft Nights for the fall 2018 . They take place the 2nd and fourth Tuesday of each month at 7:30, starting September 11th & 25th, Oct. 9th and 23rd and Nov. 13th and 27th (last one until Jan 2019, our Christmas party...). There is approximately 20 ladies who gather to make crafts which are organized by Karen and which we sell at our Christmas Sale, or make blankets which we donate to cancer patients and to the Charles Lemoyne Hospital (125 since February 2018), or knit hats, scarves, mitts, slippers to be donated to the children at a local school, our Christmas families, Marguerite du Champlain and the homeless who live on the streets. All material is provided and what you do not finish you can work on at home. We also enjoy the fellowship, meet new people and have lots of coffee, tea and treats.
