SSCPN Mission The South Shore Community Partners Network – is a volunteer-based non-profit corporation whose objective is to build a sense of community among the Montreal South Shore English-speaking community groups by helping to encourage awareness of their various activities, programs, and support services. The SSCPN assists in promoting all levels of government programs and not-for-profit services offered by organizations that could be of benefit to our community.
Regroupement réseau communautaire rive-sud est une corporation à but non-lucratif formée d’une base de volontaires dont l’objectif est de bâtir un sens de communauté parmi les groupes communautaires de langue anglaise de la rive-sud de Montréal en aidant à connaître leurs activités variées, leurs programmes et services de soutien. Le SSCPN assiste aussi à la promotion des programmes des gouvernements à tous les niveaux et les services non profit offerts par des organisations qui peuvent être bénéfiques à notre communauté.

Looking to Jump Start your Business
Most of new employment is created by Entrepreneurs starting up their own business. Do you know half of these new business are started by individuals who would welcome assistance? It’s for this reason the SSCPN is partnering with Youth Employment Services (YES) to bring added workshops ‘On how to jump start your business” to the South Shore. This English language sessions will also assist you linking up with a one to one councilor that can help bring your business no matter the size, product or service to the next level. Statistic Canada’s revised Language 2016 census data confirms the South Shore English-language community has increased especially in the area around Montreal. What is of added interest is every increasing number of persons who are Bilingual in our community (now at 75% plus). Compared to the number of Francophone who claim to be Bilingual (52%) Cheers goes out to the Riverside and New Frontier School Boards ..a great choice for parents and individuals wanting to have a solid Bilingual Education on the South Shore

The SSCPN produces a very popular Community Email Newsletter that assists various community organizations promote their programs and events. Along with our information Website and Facebook page we also help groups produce pamphlets, flyers and prepare notices for the media etc.

Through our Network of contacts we provide support to individuals seeking information on community groups and services along with accessing Government programs. The SSCPN can provide resources to host or promote programs ourselves or offer support to our partners and like-minded individuals
